Scriptyard

Privacy

This page explains what personal information Scriptyard handles and why. We keep it to a minimum.

What we collect

When you buy a plugin or theme, we store the email address you gave at checkout, the checkout and order IDs, the product and plan you bought, and the amount paid. We use these to send your licence key and download link, to let you find your purchase and licence later, and to answer support questions.

When a licence is activated on a site, we store the site's address (without the scheme and www.) and the times it was activated and last checked. We store a keyed hash of your licence key, not the key itself, so that we can check it. These records let us enforce the number of sites on your plan.

Your WordPress and PHP versions are counted anonymously when a site checks for updates. The count is per product, per day and per version, and it does not include the site address, the licence key or your email.

We do not store your card details. Payment information is collected and processed by Polar.sh, our merchant of record. Polar's privacy policy covers that data.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising pixels. To sign in to your purchases we email a one-time code to the address you enter, and a single sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Fonts

Pages load the Plus Jakarta Sans font from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font, Google receives your IP address and the request details, as with any site that uses Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

How long we keep data

Order and licence records stay in our store so that you can re-download your plugins and see your licences. If you want your records deleted, email us and we will remove them, unless we are required to keep them for tax or accounting reasons.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page.
